Product Description
PLA (polylactides) are synthetic polymers belonging to the polyesters. They are used to make plastic that is obtained from renewable sources (such as cornstarch). This makes PLA a biocompatible raw material. 3D printing Filament is often not a pure PLA, but a so-called PLA blend, whose basic structure is enriched with additives to obtain certain desired properties. All Elegoo PLA filaments are sealed with desiccant for storage and freshness.
Product Feature
(1).Prior to production, our PLA/ABS pellets are dried rigorously to ensure consistent humidity.
(2).All of our coloring and additives are RoHS certified.
(3).Our industrial extruders operate with precise temperature control and flow rate to make filaments with consistent material quality. (diameter range at 1.6-1.8mm/2.8-3.0mm, roundness +/-0.05mm, each spool net weight 1kg+/-0.02kg).
(4).Other low quality filaments on the market often contain recycled material or scrap material, this result in brittle texture unsuitable for 3D printing. The composition of our filament is strictly controlled to ensure predictable material behavior
